Bottom+Lid case packer

The bottom forming machine is equipped with a manually loaded magazine from which a flat blank is picked up by an arm equipped with suction cups and deposited into the centering unit. It is then moved to the forming area where a pad, having vertical movement from ‘top to bottom, forces it through a hopper that generates the folding of all the fins forming the tray. Immediately before passing into the hopper, using a hot melt unit and special diffusers, glue is applied where needed so as to create the finished tray. The tray out comes out of the hopper and is dropped onto a belt that provides conveyance to the filling area. Next, the lid forming machine closes the package by affixing a lid over the tray, using a system similar to the previously described bottom forming machine.
It too is equipped with a manually loaded magazine from which a stretched blank is picked up by an arm equipped with suction cups and deposited into the centering unit. It is then moved to the forming area using a system similar to the previous one and formed, but with the hopper moving from ‘top to bottom forcing the stretched blank to close around the tray. In this way, the bottom is closed by a lid. Immediately before passing into the hopper, using a hot melt unit and special diffusers, glue is applied where needed.
